With my second version I wanted to thin the atmosphere a bit in an attempt to bring more focus on the particle layer. I thought about using a Fibonacci number to place the particle layer but it brought the layer a little to low. I like the idea of using a Fibonacci number to divide the painting and will experiment with it in other paintings. For the Ghost Particle series however,it seems a little too sedate and balanced. With the explosion of energy occurring in the painting I needed more tension. These paintings have a subtle anger about them. Or perhaps not so subtle.
