Rocky Mountain National Park is such a wonderful place for watching wildlife. One morning I was looking for a bull elk to photograph for a painting. I'd seen a group of bulls back in the trees, so I left the parking lot and worked up the hillside for a better shot without spooking the animals. As I stepped out from behind a group of trees I suddenly realized this guy was off to the side and hidden from my view. He gave me a look like I was a tele-marketer interrupting his dinner.
