My life revolves around discovery and creativity, and the Split Rock series represents that. A different trip up to visit Split Rock, a different time of day, a different season, a different angle and a whole new painting emerges. It's the same rock but now we see a new set of shapes and textures. I like the way the near side wants to push out past it's sibling. A lot of visual energy in this painting.
