Bear Tree

I wanted to paint one of my favorite things in the forest. An Aspen tree that a bear has climbed and left claw marks in the bark. So if you look carefully at the tree in the foreground it has scars in its bark from a Black Bear.
Later after this painting was hanging in the gallery I realized that the name was a pun. Bear Tree / Bare Tree. I'd totally missed it.
